Instagram’s biggest earners of 2019 from Ronaldo to top woman Kendall

FOOTBALL superstar Cristiano Ronaldo was the biggest earner on Instagram this year – netting an incredible £38.2m.

The 34-year-old Juventus ace pocketed an average £780,000 per sponsored post – beating his long-standing rival Lionel Messi into the second spot.

A new rich list compiled by Buzz Bingo shows model Kendall Jenner was the higher female Insta earner on the planet in 2019.

She banked a total of £12.7m over the year – which is FOUR TIMES more than her reality star sister Kylie.

David Beckham was the highest-paid British star on the rich list for his posts to his 59.9million followers.

The 44-year-old is such a hit on the social media platform he scooped a whopping £8.6m.

Ronaldo made 34 sponsored posts on Instagram over the year, raking in £38.2m for his efforts.

That boils down to a bank-busting £780,000 per-post for the much-loved Portuguese winger.

Over the year he promoted Nike, his fragrance CR7 Play it Cool and even a hair loss consultation site.

2. Lionel Messi

Barcelona star Messi’s sponsored posts collected a total of £18.7m or £518,000 every time he made one.

The sporting star has money-making partnerships with Adidas and regularly posts pictures of his globe-trotting lifestyle.

The 36-year-old has also collaborated with jewelry brand Jacob & Co. and the American crisp brand Lays.

3. Kendall Jenner

Reality TV star Kendall Jenner is the third-highest earner over the same period, making £12.7m at £489,000 per post.

The American model has promoted underwear brands such as Calvin Klein and skincare Proactiv earning her millions.

The 24-year-old has also acted as a brand ambassador for campaigns with Estee Lauder.

5. Selena Gomez

The pop star earned £6.4m on Instagram this year despite posting a mere nine sponsored pictures.

The 27-year-old bagged a reported £709,000 per post on the site where she has 164m followers.

Among her sponsored posts is a deal with sports brand Puma and luxury bag firm Coach.

Neymar Jr netted £5.8m from the social media site this year with a reported average of £578,000 per paid post.

The Brazilian ace has 130 million followers on Instagram where he has posted just ten sponsors this year.

His money-bagging posts include his collaboration with Nike which promotes his football boots range.

7. Zlatan Ibrahimovic

Love him, or hate him Swede, 38, clinches the seventh spot on the list after hauling in £3.2m this year.

He uploaded 38 money-making posts this year including his Zlatan fragrance as well as chewing gum brand, mind the gum.

The footballer regularly posts pictures of his sporting successes to his 40 million followers and earned £160,000 ($200,000) per post.

8. Kylie Jenner

The 22-year-old Keeping Up With The Kardashian’s star raked in an impressive £3m from Instagram this year.

However, despite not topping the big earner’s list she pocketed the most per post at an impressive £1.01m a time.

Kylie was named the youngest self-made billionaire ever by Forbes earlier this year.

9. Ronaldinho

Ronaldinho made the top 10 after earning a reported £2m on the online platform this year.

He has 50m followers and earned an average of £205,000 per post, according to Buzz Bingo.

The 39-year-old Brazilian has promoted his own wine and online sports betting site Betcris.

10. Khloe Kardashian

The 35-year-old American socialite and reality TV star earned a reported £957,000 on Insta in 2019.

However, she only posted a reported two sponsored posts this year on her highly-popular page.

She has 102m followers where she promotes sister Kim’s fragrance range ‘KKW’ which features one scent named after her.
