The teenager earned the tag after he egged the minister for making Islamophobic comments in the wake of the horrific Christchurch terror attack in New Zealand that left at least 50 people dead.
Will Connolly, (EggBoy) 17, stood behind the controversial politician as he was addressing a press conference in Melbourne on Saturday, after releasing a statement following the Christchurch terror attack essentially saying it was Muslim peoples’ fault for the incident.
While the Aussie PM Scott Morrison has condemned the minister’s controversial remarks and the teen has been since released, someone has now set up a GoFundMe for the Will Connolly ‘Egg Boy’.
In the days since the incident, several GoFundMe pages have sprung up, raising cash for Egg Boy.
The biggest has attracted more than $54,762 in donations. Will has instructed that the money should go to the victim’s families of the Christchurch attack where 50 people were killed.

Not only that, but bands and artists like The Hilltop Hoods and Violent Soho have tweeted messages of support for the teen, and offered him tickets for life to their gigs.
