Harrowing video footage appears to show the moment bodies are loaded onto freezer truck with a forklift outside a New York hospital as coronavirus cases soar.
The video, posted to social media on Sunday, was shared as the state’s coronavirus death toll soared past 1,000.
The man taking the video admitted what he was seeing was difficult to look at and said that’s the reason his hands were shaking while recording.
He is heard saying – This is for real, This is Brooklyn.
Y’all take this thing real serious, this is a Brooklyn hospital.
Please pray for the people, this is for real.
Fear can be heard in the man’s voice as he said the time was 10.40 am Sunday morning.
The video, shared by NYC Councilman, Joe Borelli, has since received more than 3.4million views.
Another video, shared on Sunday to Youtube, claimed to show bodies being loaded into a freezer truck at Maimonides Hospital in Brooklyn, NY.
The hospital has not confirmed if the footage was in fact taken outside of Maimonides, but when comparing the footage to Google Map images of the hospital – it appears that is the correct location.
Medical workers, wearing protective clothing, were seen outside the hospital and the man recording said – mad bodies’ were going to be put inside the truck.
Bodies, bodies, bodies – There’s the truck we’re going to put the f***ing bodies in, the man recording says.
The videos were shared the same day a 38-year-old emergency room nurse at a Manhattan hospital took a photo of a large refrigerator truck on Sunday morning.
According to the unidentified nurse, who shared the image to Buzzfeed, the truck was being loaded with dead bodies.
He said – I took it to show to people.
It is the ghastly reality of what we deal with and where some of us have ended up already.
The photo was reportedly taken outside a hospital and shows dead bodies – in orange and white body bags lined up of people who supposedly died of coronavirus complications.
Buzzfeed was told that nurses must continue working if they are asymptomatic.
The nurse added – However we cannot get tested unless we are symptomatic.
They don’t want to test us because, at the rates we are exposed to, we are likely all sick and we don’t know it.
President Trump said in a Monday morning interview with FOX News – It’s terrible what’s going on, there are body bags all over, they’re bringing in refrigerator trucks.
There are approximately 143,000 confirmed cases across America – with almost 60,000 of them confirmed in New York as the state fast becomes the global epicenter.
New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo warned on Sunday the lockdown will last for at least another two weeks.
